“I Smash It”

Happy 7th Anniversary Sweetie!

7 years wow!  Here is to 99 more!

You are the greatest wife and mom in the world! My life surely would not be the same without you in it and I look forward to what the future brings our little family. It’s been a fun ride, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Hudson Family Updates

Sorry this blog has not been as active as it could be. It seems that we have been caught up in all the good weather that we have been having after a really cloudy June.

At the end of June we went over to Yakima for a few days. Liv had a conference over there, so we got to visit Nanny and Papa Baxter. As this was the first sun we had experienced in quite a while, Gabe made the best of it.

Right before the 4th of July weekend we spent a day at Northwest Trek, which is located outside Eatenville. For those who have not been, the park is a wildlife reserve where you can ride around and see the animals. There are some cages and such, but for the most part it is open.  Most of the animals can be found around the Pacific Northwest.

Gabe enjoyed riding the tour bus more than actually seeing the animals, but he still had a great day.

After Northwest Trek we went down to Lebam and spent some time with Nanny and Papa Hudson. We enjoyed a day on the beach and capped it off with lighting some fireworks. Gabe was not really amused by the fireworks though. Maybe next year.

After the 4th we spent a couple weeks at home. Gabe and Liv went to the Children’s Museum in Olympia and enjoyed the sun by playing in the fountain down by the Marina.

In the middle of July we made the trek back over the mountains to Spokane. We got to see Aunt G G and Uncle Garret’s new house, met their new doggy Moe and visited with some of good friends (Kirk and Morgan as well as Casey and Claudia). Riverfront Park was a huge hit with Gabe.

Finally, this past weekend we went camping with Nanny and Papa Baxter at the Sawmill Flats campground which is located inside the Wenatchee National Forest right outside Mount Rainier National Park. This was the inaugural run of their new camping trailer and it was a ton of fun.

That pretty much wraps up the update on our summer so far. Next week we celebrate birthdays and Liv and I will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary with a trip to Leavenworth!

Until next time!

Wanted: Minions

Tonight Gabe built his fortress of ultimate power. Now all he needs are some minions to overlord. The cat and the dog already turned him down.
