Baby Hudson!

crazy-baby.jpg
Josh and I are going to be parents in January!!! We are both very happy. We will keep you all posted once we find out what the gender of the baby is.In the meantime, I am having fun with nausea and fatigue (here’s where I cross my eyes and stick out my tongue). Only 6 more weeks till I’m past the first trimester . . . can’t wait!!!

The best part of this story, is when I told my sister. After a loud scream in my ear, she yells.. “How did this happen!?!”, and I started.. “Well Ginny, when a mommy and daddy really love each other…” :)

Update: Feb. 6th is the new due date.

The catch up post..

Hey all! It has been a while since we have posted anything to the blog. Sorry about that, but our lives have been pretty boring for a while. While I know you all love to see pictures of Miku, we like to actually have some news once a while before making a blog post (And then of course we put pictures of Miku in with the news :) ). The biggest news we have will show up in the next post, since I think it deserves a post all by itself.

The last month or so has been rather fun, we spent some time visiting family and friends. Last weekend we spent the day over at my brothers, helping him dig huge holes in his yard and running water lines to all corners of the yard. Miku had a blast, running in the dirt, playing with her daddy (Her real daddy, as in the one with 4 legs and a tail). She ran all day, and then instantly fell asleep on the drive home. We gave her a bath when we got home, and the water turned dark brown due to all the dirt. That is the sign of a happy dog.

A couple weeks ago, Ma and Pa Baxter came over and went to a Mariners game and stayed with us for a few days. On Friday, we went to the Zoo, where we ran into a Wild Jackie hanging around the sea horse exhibit.

Wild Jackie

One of the things I learned while visiting the zoo is that they don’t have any monkeys there. They have apes, and if you call an ape a monkey, you will quickly be corrected by the zoo workers. The apes, don’t seem to care much either way. In my defense they look like monkeys to me. I also learned that school days are really bad days to go to the zoo.. Holy cow there were a lot of little kids there, it was nuts.

In other news, I will be spending most of July (3rd – 26th) in Hawaii for work. If anybody wants/needs anything from the Islands let me know and i can pick it up for you. I have this strange feeling Miku won’t miss me much while I’m gone. She will probably just move into my side of the bed like she always does. She is such a spoiled little dog.

We hope everyone is doing well and stay tuned for our next post to hear our big news.
